Howbery is an imposing three storey Edwardian country house built around 1902. It is set in mature grounds of just under 4 acres and all of its reception rooms which are south facing overlook the lawns.

The house has a large entrance hall (17ft x 10ft) with oak flooring and a staircase with wooden panelling and ornate balustrade.
The kitchen (21ft x 19ft) has a warm country feel with it
aga and oak floor, maple/mahogany cupboards and granite surfaces.

The reception rooms include the sitting room (19ft x 13ft), music room (20ft x 14ft) with baby grand piano, dining room (19ft x 14ft) with large table mahogany seating 12 people and a classical drawing room (22ft X15ft).

There are 3 bedrooms on both the first and the second floor. The master bedroom (19ft x 14ft) is fresh and bright and has a large adjoining dressing room (18ft x 14ft) fitted with oak and cream painted cupboards with matching en-suite bathroom.
The bay window bedroom (17ftx13ft) is very pink with its gingham wallpaper and pink curtains.

One of the main features of Howbery is its beautiful garden which is divided into ‘rooms’. The large lawn leads into an enclosed rose garden dating back to when the house was built. This in turn leads into an orchard of apple, pear, plum, greengage and walnut trees, amongst others. Beyond this is a small wooded area which in the spring is a mass of bluebells.

For water features there is a large pond with a man made waterfall and finally a swimming pool which is totally private being surrounded by a 10ft hedge.
